While I admire and encourage the intitiatives to use these mediums I have also had feedback form students that it can become very confusing to have Blackboard, a Wiki, Elluminate, at least one Blog, and email all operating in the same course. I have therefore restricted my courses to one method of communication. Although I have a Blog and two Wiki’s (Quantitative Research and Psychology for Occupational Therapy, they are not being actively used by students.
